Authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a welcoming setting. Our gyros and kebabs are marinated in aromatic spices sourced from the Middle East, then charcoal grilled or slow-roasted to bring out bold, rich flavor — served wrapped in warm bread with yogurt or spicy sauce. We also offer falafel, hummus, soups, fresh salads, and house-made desserts. Every dish is prepared fresh to order, using recipes rooted in tradition and ingredients chosen with care.
Chef-owner Bawer Tekin, founder of the beloved Hayes & Kebab, brings his deep knowledge and passion for Mediterranean cooking to every dish. Growing up in southeastern Turkey, Bawer learned to cook from his family — recipes passed down through generations. He brought those traditions to San Francisco, where he has been sharing them with the community for over two decades. For Bawer, food is love.
